ABOUT

I’m Sian, thanks so much for stopping by.

I’m a wedding and family photographer based in Frome Somerset, creating timeless, natural images that capture life as it really feels. My work is all about documenting meaningful moments, preserving memories, and creating photographs that leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside long after the day has passed.

My love for photography began when I was 12, after my parents bought me a pastel pink Kodak camera that I barely put down. Photography quickly became something I felt deeply passionate about, and over time I knew it was what I wanted to do. That said, it wasn’t the only dream I had growing up.

For many years, dance played a huge part in my life. I trained at a dance school for 14 years and once dreamed of becoming a ballerina. I even danced with the Royal Ballet when I was 12, which was an absolute dream and gave me a glimpse into that world. These days, as long as I can still have a little boogie on the dance floor now and then, that’s more than enough for me.

At school, I felt most confident behind the camera, and that feeling never really left. Studio photography became my first love and I still love it now, but there’s something truly special about natural light. Being outdoors in wide open spaces, or tucked up at home on the sofa, surrounded by real life and real connection, for me, it doesn’t compare.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Choosing your photographer is about more than style or price. It’s about trust, comfort, and finding someone who understands what matters most to you.

My approach is calm, relaxed, and personal. I’m there to document your day naturally as it unfolds, while offering gentle guidance and support whenever it’s needed. On a wedding day, I’ll be with you more than almost anyone else, so feeling at ease is incredibly important to me.

I focus on real moments, genuine emotion, and the little details in between. Whether I’m photographing your wedding, your family, or a quiet moment at home, my aim is always the same — to create images that feel honest, meaningful, and timeless.

If that sounds like the experience you’re looking for, I’d love to be part of your story.
